Hey, I’m Rex, and I’ve been passionately working with cameras for about 17 years now. My journey began when I was seventeen years old, when I took an introductory film photography course at Dixie State University. This early experience with film photography, including the darkroom, instilled in me a deep appreciation for the craft and taught me the discipline to carefully craft each image.

While I enjoy shooting a wide range of portraits, my true passion lies in capturing epic landscapes. My current projects include developing a unique style for children’s portraiture. Additionally, I contribute my expertise as a writer for fstoppers.com, where I discuss various photography-related topics.

My approach to photography is characterized by a heightened sense of realism. I strive to create true-to-life images, paying meticulous attention to details in posing, lighting, composition, and coloration, ensuring each photograph is vibrant and full of life.
